How to Order Detention Supplies & Restricted Items

Any person or organization wanting to order any Items listed under the Detention Supplies Category must be registered with Nardis, Inc before the order will be processed. Failure to properly register within 10 business days of order placement date will result in the order being cancelled.

How to provide official authorization for restricted items:

By purchasing from Nardis, Inc., the buyer assumes the full and complete responsibility of having ascertained and complied with all applicable local, state, federal and international laws with regard to the purchase, possession and use of any item purchased from Nardis, Inc. Review your local municipal and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt.

Within ten (10) business days after submitting your order, send via fax or mail...

Sales of certain items are restricted by State/Federal law, or by Nardis, Inc company policy. This is to better protect both the public and the Public Safety professionals we rely on to keep our communities safe.

 

Additional Restricted Items:

• Badges referencing law enforcement, security, state/federal agencies, etc. Federal and State Laws prohibit individuals from purchasing badges to impersonate law enforcement personnel.
• Automatic knives
• Automobile opening kits
• Body Armor
• Vehicle lighting and other specialized law enforcement equipment.
• Pepper spray/OC spray may have restrictions depending on where you live.

Restrictions on the Sale of Pepper/O.C. Sprays

"e;Pepper Spray"e; or "e;O.C. Spray"e; is legal in all 50 states in the U.S.; however, your city or state may have restrictions on sizes, strengths, etc. We recommend you contact your local police department before your order or review your local municipal and state laws.

States Where Pepper Sprays are Restricted

• New York : New York residents may only purchase defense sprays from licensed Firearms Dealers or licensed Pharmacists in that state.
• Massachusetts : Massachusetts residents may only purchase defense sprays from licensed Firearms Dealers in that state.

States Where Pepper Sprays Have Some Restrictions

• Michigan : O.C. Pepper spray can be no stronger than a 2% concentrate. CS is the only Tear Gas accepted and can be no larger then 35 grams per can. No combination sprays are allowed.
• Wisconsin : Pepper only. No Tear gas, UV Dye or combination sprays. O.C. can be no stronger than a 10% solution. The can must be between 15-60 grams only and must have a safety feature.

Defense sprays should only be purchased by those 18 years of age or older. Certain other restrictions may exist in your jurisdiction. The above list is not exhaustive, but it does represent the kinds of restrictions that exist.
